Valencia is the third largest city in Spain, located in the east of the country. It is a port city on the Mediterranean Sea. How to get to Valencia?
Valencia has an airport and seaport. The most common thing is to arrive to the city by plane. To get from the airport to the city, you can use the metro, bus line 150 or the taxi service.
Bus: the bus is another good option from the airport, with lines 150 or 220 taking you to the center of Valencia. Buses typically have stops at key points around the city and offer frequent service, making it easy to access various areas of Valencia. Metro: the metro is the fastest and easiest way to make this journey. There are two metro lines at the airport, line 3 (red) and line 5 (green). Both will take you to the city center, to the most central stop, Xàtiva. In addition, with line 5 you can also reach places like the Mestalla stadium, located at the Aragón metro stop. Inside the airport, the metro is located on the -1 floor and its frequency is 5-10 minutes. The duration of the journey is approximately 25 minutes and the price of a single ticket is 3.90 euros. To this amount you must add 1 euro more for the cost of the card support, in case you do not already have one.
Taxi: the taxi rank at Valencia Airport is located outside the arrivals area of Terminal 1. The price of this service varies depending on your destination and the time you use it. You can check the taxi service rates on the Valencia Airport website.

How to move around Valencia?
Valencia is a perfect city to walk to places, both because it is a very flat city, and because of its climate and the comfort of its size.
However, if you don't want to get around on foot, Valencia has a public bicycle service, known as Valenbisi, which you can subscribe to for less than 30 euros per year.In addition, the city also has the usual means of public transportation.
Metro: the city of Valencia has a shared metro and tram service, both transports complement each other. That is, if you transfer from the metro to the tram, or vice versa, it will count as a single trip. The city is divided into 4 zones and has 9 lines of this service. Cercanías train: the surrounding area of Valencia offers an efficient rail network that connects the city with the surrounding area. The most commercial area of Valencia is Calle Colón, where you can find everything from brand stores with average prices to more exclusive brand stores. In the city center, Jorge Juan and Don Juan de Austria streets also have numerous shops.
