How to get to Dubai?

In addition, stations such as the Al Ghubaiba Bus Terminal and the train station, at Sharaf DG, facilitate local and international travel. The city also has the Jebel Ali Port, although it is only a freight solution. Bus: Buses are another option for getting from Dubai airport to downtown using public transportation. All airport terminals have bus stops. The C01 line operates 24 hours a day, with frequencies of approximately 30 minutes.
Metro: The metro is the cheapest option to get from Dubai airport to the city center. You can take the red line from terminal 1 or 3, and in less than 25 minutes you will reach the Burj Khalifa station and the Dubai Mall. Depending on where you are staying, other useful stops are Dubai Marina, Mall of the Emirates, or Union, where you can connect to the green line that goes to the old city. The metro operates from 5:30 to 00:00, except on Fridays, when it starts at 10:00.
Taxi: Taking a cab is the fastest way to get from Dubai airport to the city center or to your hotel. From the cab ranks available at any of the 3 terminals, you will reach the city center in about 20 minutes. The cost ranges from 20€ to 40€, depending on your destination within the city.

How to move around Dubai?
Dubai is a perfectly connected city, you have different possibilities and the public transport service is quite frequent.
Metro: The Dubai metro is fully automatic and has two different lines, red and green. The cost varies depending on the distance traveled.
Bus: There are 76 lines distributed throughout the city offering stable service from early morning to late at night (from 6am to 12pm). There are also 5 lines that operate at night.
For students, workers, young professionals or digital nomads who are going to spend in Dubai a medium or long stay in the city, it is best to purchase a metro card, called 'Nol'. You will have no problem to move around and reach all the places in the city, since the Dubai metro has almost 90 kilometers long and numerous stations.
You can buy your Nol card at any metro station and in some supermarkets in the city, such as Carrefour, Spinneys or Waitrose, and you can recharge it in vending machines or at the ticket offices of the metro stations.
